Just days ago at OVO Fest 2016, Kanye West and Drake made a very special announcement to the crowd in Toronto. After performing “Pop Style,” Yeezy had went to address the crowd and asked, “”Toronto, I got one question for you. Is y’all ready for this album?” At first, the crowd assumed he was referring to The Life of Pablo as soon as “Father Stretch My Hands Pt.1” came on. But then Ye stopped the music and then said, “I wasn’t talkin about Pablo. I wasn’t talking about Views. Are y’all ready for this album.”
But just after he performed the track, Drake immediately took stage and said, “what my brother was asking before was…are y’all ready if we make an album, that’s what he was asking.”
Now previously, both Drake and Kanye announced a collaborative album which was going to be titled Wolves at one point way back as of last year or so. Then again, Drake said he was making collaborative efforts with a couple artists already and neither of them really had any elevation but hype.
First, it was a Drake collaboration with Rick Ross where their project would be titled “YOLO.” Then the Wolves collaboration was the second followed by the third unnamed project that was recently announced by Drake and Gucci Mane. From what it seems like, this could be all gas on one end. Though we can only have time pass that Yeezy and Drizzy can deliver an album such as this.
